The animated series ‘Farid's Riddles’, directed and produced by Seyyed Alireza Golpayegani, is a notable creation of the Saba Animation Center's children's group, affiliated with IRIB.

Spanning 26 episodes of 13 minutes each, this series targets children and teenagers, imparting moral, educational, and human values through engaging stories.

‘Farid's Riddles’ follows the adventures of a knowledgeable boy named Farid, who possesses an extraordinary ability to solve difficult puzzles and help people with their problems.

With his God-given intelligence, Farid confronts negative characters, guided by the wisdom of his teacher, Khawjeh Ahmed Attar Shahr. Together, they strive to strengthen the faith of Farid and other children, teaching them to solve problems with piety and moral integrity.

In this series, various moral and educational themes are conveyed through riddles and intelligence questions.

The animation emphasizes confronting oppression, helping the oppressed, and incorporating Islamic ideas and authentic Iranian identity into its moral stories.

The storytelling keeps the audience eager to see how Farid will overcome each challenge, even as they expect his success.

In an interview with the center, the director explained that “‘Farid's Riddles’ teaches scientific, moral, and religious lessons to children, emphasizing problem-solving skills and the belief that every challenge can be overcome through thoughtful consideration.”

Golpayegani further highlighted that the key feature of ‘Farid's Riddles’ is its hero who relies on thinking and teamwork. Farid represents a role model for children, showing them that problems can be solved with effort, intelligence, and collaboration at any age.
